LESSON & CAMP POLICIES
PREVENTION POLICY
All athletes regardless of age or gender are required to attend all one-on-one private lessons accompanied by another individual. Should an athlete arrive at the facility unaccompanied in violation of our prevention policy, he/she will be asked to book a new lesson for another date and time when someone can accompany them, and his/her lesson will be canceled and considered non-refundable.
While parent/guardian attendance is not required at group lessons or seasonal camps, parents/guardians are allowed and welcome to attend group lessons and camps with their athlete(s) so long as they sit in the designated spectators area and do not intrude, interrupt, or interfere with the lesson or camp and/or the participating athlete(s).
PARTICIPATING ATHLETE POLICY
While participating in lessons and/or camps at Flicky Stick Pole Vault, all athletes agree to adhere solely to the instruction given by the Flicky Stick Pole Vault coach(es) administering the lesson and/or camp. All participating athletes must submit a participation waiver prior to attending lessons or camps. A parent/guardian signature is required for athletes under the age of 18, while athletes age 18+ may sign and submit their own participation waiver.
COACHES/COACHING POLICY
Coaches are welcome to attend and observe lessons and/or camps with their athletes so long as they sit in the designated spectators area and do not intrude, interrupt, or interfere with the lesson and/or camp and the participating athlete(s). Coaches not employed by or associated with Flicky Stick Pole Vault are prohibited from coaching athletes during lessons and/or camps.
Flicky Stick Pole Vault is first and foremost a pole vault club that offers practices, lessons, and camps under the instruction of coaches employed by and/or associated with Flicky Stick Pole Vault. We do not operate as a public facility open to athletes and/or coaches to use for personal/private practice.
ENTRY/SERVICE POLICY
Flicky Stick Pole Vault coaches and staff reserve the right to refuse entry and/or service to any individual who does not comply with Flicky Stick Pole Vault policies and/or for reasons relating, but not limited to: violence towards and/or endangerment of ones self or others, inappropriate behavior and/or conduct, verbal and/or physical abuse, etc.
MEDIA POLICY
Photography and video recording are allowed during lessons and/or camps at Flicky Stick Pole Vault so long as it does not intrude, interrupt, or interfere with the lesson and/or camp and the participating athlete(s).
UNACCOMPANIED ATHLETE POLICY
Should an athlete arrive at the facility unaccompanied in violation of our prevention policy, he/she will be asked to book a new lesson for another date and time when someone can accompany them, and his/her lesson will be canceled and considered non-refundable.
UNEXPECTED ATHLETE POLICY
Should an athlete(s) show up to a private lesson or private group lesson with no prior booking and/or payment, he or she will pay the full private lesson price of $60 per athlete regardless of the lesson type he/she is participating in.
RESCHEDULING POLICY
All lessons (beginner, private, and group) may be rescheduled through the athletes online member account up to 48 hours prior to the lesson date and time. Should an athlete request to reschedule within less than 48 hours of the lesson date and time, a $60 rescheduling fee will apply.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Beginner Lessons
Athletes may cancel their beginner lesson through their online member account at any time. If an athlete cancels within less than 48 hours of the lesson date and time or fails to show up, they forfeit their free beginner lesson.
Should an athlete arrive at the facility unaccompanied in violation of our prevention policy, he/she will be asked to book a private lesson for another date and time when someone can accompany them, and forfeit their free beginner lesson.
Private & Group Lessons
Athletes may cancel or reschedule private lessons through their online member account up to 48 hours prior to the lesson date and time. Cancellations made within less than 48 hours of the lesson are not eligible for a refund. Due to this policy, we do not accept cash or check payments for private lessons. All lessons must be booked and paid for in advance with a credit card.

Seasonal Camps
Athletes may cancel their booking for a seasonal camp any time through their online member account. Cancellations made within less than 7 days prior to the camp date and time are not eligible for a refund.
Due to this policy, we do not accept cash or check payments for seasonal camps. All seasonal camps must be booked and paid for in advance with a credit card.
